Finally, My Plane is in the Garden and I utter a sigh of relief I am sure you understand. Maybe you feel the way I do about ‘inconvenience’ and perhaps you will agree with me when I say “there is nothing that annoys me more than the chauffeur driven drive to the local airport to board my own plane!” I mean what a time waste, well now thank goodness I am living in my own gated ‘Plane Park’ and My Plane is just moments away. It’s so much easier now to pop over to Paris for Lunch or pick up necessities in Zurich…
Does any of the above make sense, I learnt about ‘Plane Parks’ on the morning news, yes am addicted to to the series featured regularly on MSNBC, CNN and the rest called ‘The Trumpo’s’ very similar to the Sopranos.. and I learnt that Cohen, Trump’s convicted ‘Fixer’ earned himself a hefty $100 000.00 for selling a piece of real estate to two Qatari Princes who converted the land into an ‘Elite Gated Living Plane Park ‘Jumbolair”.
Is this mad? or have I lost the plot?…. essentially if the rich want to sleep with their planes I suppose they can but isn’t life a little absurd if it is too much trouble to drive a short distance in saloon driven comfort to go on a shopping trip. Now I understand if you are CIA or FBI or even MI5 and you have an urgent mission of world annihilation to attend to but to go on shopping trips when money, which many of us work many hours to acquire could be put to so much better use!!
This world is in a big horrible place and those with money could be doing something to make it better whilst the rest of us keep the wheels turning. Is it just me? who else thinks this world at the moment is slightly mad?
Today I listened to a talk given to University students by Naom Chomsky to say it was brilliant is an understatement, he literally gives us a roadmap on how to correct the world and to stop it from imploding either via nuclear warfare, Global warming or the failure to respect and adhere to law and order!! it’s that simple and yet it would seem the ruling classes are the very people, the people we elect who are committing these atrocities…
Naom then led me to famous historian and author of ‘Sapiens’ and ‘Homo Deus’, in his first book providing an overview of civilisation from inception to today and ‘Homo Deus’ takes the reader into the future and a world that for many of us are ill-equipped to navigate. Whilst this is indeed illuminating it left me feeling a tad depressed at my ripe age what chance have I of navigating a future so entrenched in intricate and layered technological algorithms advancing at speeds that even the young sharp minded techno will need to re-educate over and over to keep up…. and then I listened to Thomas Friedman who is someone close to my age and more sage-like and very brilliant. His take is that humanity in its goodness and brilliance always manages in some way to navigate change and in so doing creates new opportunities open to all.
This led me to another thought highlighted by Mind Valley after all the talk of AI and how it will replace much of what we do it would seem that scientists still admit that there is such a thing as human consciousness and it is that that makes us unique. This fascinates me, many I believe would say this is God or the Soul or life itself, whatever it is it is something that is intangible, that cannot be explained or manufactured and all living things possess it. This is what makes life so very good and I think it is this that we need to concentrate on whilst still re-educating over and over, re-inventing time and again. However always knowing that there is a string, a light that holds it all together and no matter how clever you are, how smart there is more, something not known and not proven and not capable of being produced it is unique, energy.
Am I right or am I wrong? if you know please tell me.. I really want to know.. There is just so much that cannot be explained and I include animals into this equation..they too perform miracles and exhibit behaviours and emotions that cannot be explained.
Whilst my head was swimming in amongst this wonderful adventure given to me by the beautiful library known as the internet, back at ground zero ‘The Trump’ became a new ‘Best Seller’ courtesy of Bob Woodard. It would seem all is revealed and all a little sad, how does an institution like the White House recover from this? In some ways, I feel terribly sad for this awful Narcissist and am dumbfounded that this great nation should be held to ransom in this situation.
I question how this could possibly have happened? I am just this small inconsequential ant on this planet yet even my tiny non-algorithmic brain understood from the get-go that Trump was a no go. To place him in anywhere near power was insane.
None of my explorations this week have ventured into time and how it is stretched, altered and doubled and what that means and could I even understand it.
So what’s on your to-do list for Monday? mine is a little full given the above list of tasks and I have no idea how I in my tiny little way can set about to change these circumstances all I have is my small inconsequential voice.
Wishing you all well on your journies forward.
